Results from “Generate here” are generated by AI. AI can make mistakes, so check important facts against the sources in the result. Results are for reference when making decisions; they are not legal, tax, immigration or other professional advice, and they guarantee no outcome (such as an admission, a visa or an order).
What we keep
- If you're not signed in, the site doesn't keep what you enter or the results; results stay in your own browser for 24 hours, so copy or download anything you want to keep. If you're signed in, what you enter on task pages and the results are saved in your account, and you can delete them at any time.
- Your access code and age confirmation are stored only in your browser.
- Our server records usage only: the task, language, length of the result, time taken and cost-related figures, plus a short code derived from your access code or network address that cannot be reversed. We use it to count usage per access code and to control costs.
- Feedback you choose to send (whether the result was useful, and an optional comment) is kept so we can improve the tasks.
- Anonymous usage counts: how often task pages are opened and results are generated, copied or downloaded. They don't include who you are, your network address or anything you enter, and use no cookies.
- If you sign in: we keep your email, the track you choose, and the Evaluation case number linked to your access code (not the code itself). Account data is stored on servers in Singapore and other users can't see it. If you ask for an expert check, the assigned expert and ASDLine administrators can see that result and what you entered for it. Reminder and notification emails are sent through our email service. You can delete your account in “My workspace”, which deletes the data in it too.
What you enter is processed by an AI provider
To generate results, what you enter is sent to the AI provider we use. The provider states that content processed through its interface is not used to train models by default. Please don't enter names, school names, ID numbers, contact details or anything else that could identify someone.
Under-18s
Education tasks may be used by secondary-school students. If you are under 18, please use them with a parent's or guardian's permission; education tasks ask you to confirm this before you first generate on the page. Education tasks only coach: they never write work a student could hand in. If what you enter suggests you may be in danger, the AI stops the task and suggests telling a parent or teacher, or contacting local emergency services.
